The Stroller Safety Flag™ was created to solve a deadly problem — accidents involving strollers and motor vehicles.

Every year hundreds of children are injured or killed by otherwise cautious drivers that simply did not see a child’s stroller in the crosswalk or a parking lot. According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the number of tragedies, on average, doubles each year.

As a parent of three and a New York resident, I personally feared for my children’s safety every time I pushed their stroller across the street or through a parking lot. No matter how cautious I was, I knew there was no guarantee that a driver would see me, or my children.

I invented the Stroller Safety Flag™ so that parents and their precious cargo could cross the street safely and with the confidence that they have been seen by all drivers.
